Bob Wilson of Wilson Bros has asked you to explain stereotypes. As he understands it stereotypes can behelpful or not helpful to individuals and organizations depending on the situation in which astereotype is used. With the assistance of available research from the course and external sources, comment on the above statement, explain your answer and respond to at least two other students' postings. (5 marks)Stereotyping is the process in which we hold a set of beliefs about a certain group of people (most likely with the same physical characteristics) and automatically assume that everyone in the group has the same features or abilities that we think they do. For example, a tall person can be stereotyped as someone who is good at basketball, or that a senior is not good with technology. However, these are not always true. A tall person may not like playing basketball and a senior could be great at using technology.
