LOCATION AND CLIMATOLOGY First, we should know the geographical location of Juneau and its climatology. Go to our “Weather Data” page. 1. Use google maps to locate Juneau. Also, note down the latitude and longitude to the nearest tenth of a degree. 2. Note down any nearby topography and bodies of water that may influence the weather. 3. Next, go to the climate report, and note down yesterday’s maximum and minimum temperature, the highest wind speed and precipitation. Also, note down the climate normals (max and min temperature only) 4. What is the local time (to the nearest hour) in Juneau? What is the local time at the start (and end) of our WxChallenge forecast period?
