Unformatted text preview: I have been in a situation at a place of work a few years ago where there was an upper level job position open. Everyone interviewed for the position and it ended up coming between me and a male co-worker of mine who had been with the company less time than me. I had really wanted this position and felt that I had the skills and knowledge for this position. Well the ending result was he got the new position and I did not. But I do not hold any grudges like that he knew people (favoritism), (male domination), there will be other positions. I don’t worry about it because I know that soon there will be another position that I will get. After he had gotten the position his immaturity set in and he kind of acted differently, like only talked to certain people and always acting like I know everything kind of attitude. We all know in the business world this does not go too far you have to work hard and show to people that you really do care about your job....
