Provide one example each of classical and operant conditioning in your own life. Identify either the stimulus and response or reinforcers in each case. Which type would you prefer for learning and why? An example of classical conditioning is my biggest fear is Spiders, always has been since I was little. Too this day when I see even a small spider on the wall or a big brown one run across the floor. I start to get chills and practically scream. I would probably try a stimulus approach; maybe if I studied them from a distance more I would not fear them as much when they come close. I would prefer this type of stimulus learning because I have a huge fear towards Spiders

An example of operant conditioning would be an example at my job if we do a really good job every 6 months they take my department out to a really nice dinner restaurant, paid for by the company. I think the reinforcer is so that we will get all our work done and accurately all the time and we will be rewarded for such a good job. I prefer this at my job the reinforce approach to learn by because I work hard at my job and to go to a nice restaurant paid for by the company is a fair reward....
