How do you determine if information is credible, what criteria can be used to determine if a web site is credible and accurate? You need to choose your resources carefully to make sure you get the best and most useful ones. Anyone, in theory, can publish on the Web; therefore, it is imperative for users of the Web to develop a critical eye to evaluate the credibility of Internet information. Searching for sources on the WWW involves using a search engine, a directory, or some combination of these two. Because there is so much information on the Web, good and bad, finding what you want is not an exact science and can be time consuming. A Credible website will have a lot of sources as, sites and general knowledge. If a website has low or no credibility or sources, it is an unreliable site. A reliable, will have something to back it up. An unreliable website doesn't have reliable sources. According to Nicholas C.
