To find out, we are going to compare the average overall grades for the two samples from the First period and Second period classes. The First period classes had a sample mean of 87.9 and sample standard deviation of 7.6 for a sample of 26. The Second period classes showed a sample mean of 88.1 and a sample standard deviation of 10.8 for a sample of 26.
