                                                                Logan Wiseman General Biology I: Human Perspectives Filter Observations November 30, 2010 I have taken a coffee filter and plastered Vaseline all over it on both sides and then hung it in between the  window and screen.  It had a greasy texture with a sticky coating on both sides that was very shiny. The filter has a clear white  texture on both sides and if you look closely enough your able to see through to the other side, there is

Unformatted text preview: currently no other colors identifiable on the filter there is also no smell aside from the Vaseline at this time. At the end of four weeks I expect the filter to have a more discolored look, while the texture may remain largely the same I dont expect it to have the same sleek look or the same sticky texture as when the Vaseline was first applied, I also expect the filter to dry up and become bit crusty under the touch while if any air pollution is collected Im assuming it will have a smell to it as well....
