1) [30 pts] a) Assume that you want to generate a delay of 0.5 milliseconds using Timer1, and the crystal oscillator frequency XTAL is 6 MHz . To generate the delay with a single roll-over of the timer (i.e., single raise of the TF1 flag), what should be the configuration value of the TMOD register and which initial value should be loaded to TH1 and TL1 registers? (If you need to convert a number larger than 255 to hexadecimal representation, instead of making the calculations you can use phrases like ‘high/low byte of …. (decimal number) in hexadecimals’ ). TMOD: 20 H TL1: 6 H TH1: 6 H 1 increment of the timer takes 1/(XTAL/12)=2 μ s. 0.5 ms=500 μ s, so the timer should be incremented 250 times. Timer Mode 2 will be used with TH1=TL1=-250 = 6 H
