1. Answer the following questions about documentation: a) Why do we document sources? (Provide at least three reasons.) It’s important that we document sources, because it makes our writing more credible by backing up the facts with other sources. In the same breath, it also demonstrates to the reader that you, (the author) have compared the ideas of others with ideas of your own. Last but not least, we document our sources because it convinces our readers of the validity of the argument or fact. b) What factors determine whether material used from sources should be documented? Using materials from unreliable sources like Wikipedia or amateur blogs may produce flawed data, or faulty information. In that case, one should avoid documenting materials from sources that resemble these sites. Documenting material from a reliable newspaper or professional blog is much more reliable and trustworthy. The information still has the probability of being manipulated or wrong, but nonetheless, the information that is documented has come
