Segregation: proper chromosomes need to segregate to each daughter cell, c.ii. Mechanical process: pulling DNA. d. Division of the cytoplasm into 2 cells (cytokinesis) d.i. Dividing cytoplasm into 2 cell. 4.) DNA Duplication (replication) a. Genome: total DNA containing an organism’s complete set of genes. b.
