Wesley McLaughlin ENGL 402/Assignment #1 08/26/2011 Hello all, My name is Wesley McLaughlin and I am a nineteen year old sophomore/senior. I know that sounds confusing but I did full time running start and will be graduating from WSU, summer 2012 at the age of twenty. I was born in Yakima, WA but I would say I am from Auburn. I went to high school at Auburn Riverside, and I took my running start courses at Highline Community College. Some of my hobbies are playing volleyball, motorcycles, cars, and traveling. I have been to twenty five states and have lived in five of them, as well as going abroad to Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, England, Hungary, and Greece. As of spring 2011 I am certified in the College of Business and will be getting my degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management Information Systems (MIS). For those of you who don’t know MIS is a degree focusing on the computer systems side of business.

I started out at a phone marketing company for timeshares, then moved to the Tutoring Center at Highline Community College, and after that I went to work at Little Caesars until I came to Pullman. This summer I didnt get the chance to find a job but I did do study abroad in Kamena Vourla, Greece which was an amazing experience and taught me a lot more than a summer job could have. Currently I dont have a paid position, but I am the Director of Academic Affairs at my fraternity, Delta Tau Delta. Hope you all have a great semester, Wesley...
