Wesley McLaughlin 700 NE Campus Street – Pullman, WA 99163 October 5 th , 2011 Ms. Lisa Luders English Professor Washington State University Avery Building 451 B Pullman, WA 99163 Dear Ms. Luders: I have found a grant for Medical Marijuana Policy Research: Exploring Trends and Impacts (R01). This grant is coming from grants.gov, which was established under the President’s 2002 Fiscal Year Management Agenda. Grants.gov funds all sorts of research from agriculture, to disaster prevention, to income security and social services. They currently provide access to approximately $500 billion in annual awards. There philosophy is to improve government services to the public. They provide grants to government organizations, educational organizations, public housing organizations, non-profit organizations, small businesses, for-profit organizations, and individuals. Overall this seems to be a very broad grant site who gives everyone a fair chance at receiving their money.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
