0618-231 Technical Programming I Fall 20071 Laboratory Assignment Six Laminar Flow Learning Objectives: This lab assignment allows the student to demonstrate problem solving using procedural programming skills to write code which properly uses C++ functions. You are to electronically submit a response to this assignment NLT October 21, 2007 . There is a portion of this assignment to be checked by the lab instructor during the lab period. Pre-Laboratory Activities: 1. Review the course materials posted on the mycourses.com site. 2. Read Chapters 1 – 6 in the text. 3. Write a program with three functions - two of the functions both calculate the volume of a sphere. A function, sphereValue, demonstrates “call by value” with a return value for the volume. The second function, sphereReference, demonstrates “call by reference” with a void return. The main( ) asks the user to input the sphere’s radius, calls both functions and, if the two volumes are the same, displays the sphere’s volume. An error message is displayed if
