(a) Determine the moment arm for the applied force (b) Determine the torque created by the applied force. 3) For each of the diagrams below showing a force acting on an object determine the moment arm. 4) Below is a top view of a packing crate being pushed by two forces of equal magnitude in opposite directions as shown. (a) Find the magnitude of the net force acting on the crate. (b) Find the net torque exerted on the crate if its width is 1.0 meters. Assume the axis of rotation is through the center of the crate.
