KICA Franz Li 4. Analysis, Analysis the contribution of Jazz in USA in different period. Jazz can be considered as a spirituals song and as a communication during the slavery period, through the melody and lyric, slaveries can express their painful feelings and the aspirations for their hometown and family. In1917-1924, Jazz become more and more popular in USA, in this period, people starting to listen and dance in dance hall and radio. During the Great Depression era, people were depressed and disheartened by the bad influence, to listen jazz can excite their minds and nerves, so jazz can provide entertainment and hope to people and country. Jazz can considered be as an arsenal during WWII, some jazz players taking their bands with the troops overseas, to bring their music to battlefield, to stimulate and inspire soldiers when people hear jazz, the know the batter hasn’t fail and jazz is a beacon of hope. With the postwar years bring America to a level of prosperity a decade before, Jazz reach to the peak, this is the most magnificent period of jazz, in dance club, people are ecstatic by the strong tempo of Jazz to reduce their stress, In salon, Jazz become the most
