Specific:- The divinity domain the society- Everybody must believe and glorify god- Music become a way to talk and to approach to god- The music style is very awfulness- People are not equal in society- The monarchy of the Baroque had absolute power.- Music is considered extreme holly, only those noblemen; emperor can enjoy it during Baroque period. Unit #2 Classical period: Overall:- Explain how the society likes during this era.- List the characteristics of the music- Discuss how the society influence composer to compose.- What kind of role does the music play in this society- Show an understanding of why composer and player like to interpret their music in this way. Specific:- Enlightenment happen during this era- Enlightenment is an anti- obscurant, anti-feudal, anti-church and a Cultural Revolution.- Laws are equal to everyone which means everybody are equal- Legal against tyranny; science against ignorance, freedom versus religious oppression, deism and atheism against Catholic authority.- Therefore the music has a huge change as same as society- Music is no longer considered as "a gift from God or can only used to glorify God,"- Music should be an original song from natural- Music become popular and everybody has the right to listen and study Unit #3 Romantic period: Overall:- Explain how the society likes during this era.- List the characteristics of the music- Discuss how the society influence composer to compose.- What kind of role does the music play in this society- Show an understanding of why composer and player like to interpret their music in this way. Specific:- Romanticism was a movement that emerged during the French Revolution- The French Revolution signaled the transfer of power from the aristocracy to the middle class.- It transformed poetry, novel, drama, painting, and all forms of concert music.- It was deeply connected with the politics of the time, echoing people's hopes, and aspirations....
