GOOD LUCK! 1 Discuss the miscommunication which exists in the relationship between Costa and Elenl based on the short story, “A Proper Goodbye.” 2 Write a 200-250 word essay outlining the concept of gift giving as it relates to the Story, “The Gift of the Magi. 3 Write a 200-250 word essay discussing the concepts of wealth and happiness as they relate to the short story the “Rocking-Horse Winner.” 4 In Chapter 7 of The Great Gatsby F. Scott Fitzgerald uses the sweltering summer heat as a literary device to enhance the mood and plot of the novel. Please explain how he does this using at least 4 examples. 5 Archetypes are literary structures which are repeated in many different works because they are effective. Using any short story, play or novel we have studied during this course and give at least 4 different archetypes.
