Kim Mehan COM 439 Reading Reflection #1 Due: August 30 “You cannot be anything you want to be-but you can be a lot more of who you already are.” I have a lot on my mind after finishing my first week of senior year. This is the time where I need to find a job and use my knowledge I have learned in school. These readings for the first reflection gave me insight into how I can accomplish my goals using my top strengths. What are my strengths? The strengths finder is something I should have completed sooner than my senior year. In interviews, people always ask the question, what are your strengths? People give the general answer of organized, hard working, friendly, etc. without truly knowing their strengths. I do not think taking the strengths finder test is the only way to find out your strengths, but it gives a good idea of what makes you stand out from other people. Through this test and sitting with my group, I realized each person brings different strengths to the table.
