MyAccountingLab Course ID: XL0S-O1SI-901Y-8SU2 See Blackboard site for Office Hours Required Text / Course Materials Required Course Materials: Managerial Accounting , by Braun, Tietz & Harrison, Pearson, 2010, ISBN 978-1-256-46492-1. Note: The textbook sold by the bookstore is shrink-wrapped and packaged with a software code used to access the online homework system and the electronic version of the textbook. Please do NOT discard the software access code . Also note that this class uses a custom published version of the text. The ground-based classes use a different version of the text. Please make sure to purchase the version of the text that indicates it is for “ACC241 ONLINE CLASS ONLY.” The bookstore will not allow you to return the incorrect text once the shrink-wrap has been removed. Please make sure you have purchased the correct book before you remove the wrapping. Note: If you took ACC231 in the Fall 2011 semester, and purchased a software access code at that time, you will not need to purchase a new access code. A calculator with basic mathematical functions is required for this class and should be brought to the exams. No sharing of calculators will be permitted during exams AND no cell phone calculators will be allowed. Note that numerous PDF Files are posted on our course Blackboard site, which is located at: . For some of these documents, it will be helpful to print the file. Directions on printing items posted on blackboard are also listed on the Blackboard site. Pearson’s MyAccountingLab online course management system is used extensively in this course and is located at . You will register on this site and use it to complete homework and quizzes as well as practice and review assignments. Please see the course blackboard site (MyAccountingLab button) for registration instructions. There are instructions for enrolling for first time students and for students repeating the course. Also see the course Blackboard site for information about purchasing MyAccountingLab. If you previously purchased MyAccountingLab for ACC231 within the last year, your MyAccountingLab registration is good for one year and you should not have to repurchase it. Do NOT wait until the last minute to register or do the MyAccountingLab work. Note that assignment deadlines are not extended if you cannot register for MyAccountingLab or access the homework.
