Biology 8 Practical 2 Review: Please note that this is only a general guide to the practical. There are no guarantees that everything on the test is included on the following set of review questions. All material discussed in lab is fair and appropriate evaluation material. Isle Royale Simulation: 1. When the moose arrived on Isle Royale, their population growth curve did not exactly match the theoretical logistic growth curve model. Draw the more realistic growth of the moose as depicted in the Isle Royale Simulation. Label the axes on the graph with the appropriate variables (i.e. one should be N, the other should be time in years). Provide an explanation for the deviation from the theoretical logistic growth curve. 2. How did the addition of wolves impact the overall health of individual moose? Why? 3.
