To increase abilities to understand and critique journal articles from current social psychology literature. To understand the basic principles of social psychology and how these principles relate to everyday life. Recommended Text: THINK: Social Psychology by Kimberly Duff, Pearson Publishers. (or see: http://psychology.wikia.com/wiki/Social_psychology or any Social Psychology textbook) Grading Policy: 30% Mid-term exam 30% Final Exam 20% Take Home Quiz 20% Reading/Homework assignments Exam Policy: Exams will be multiple choice and short answer and will cover material from lectures and readings. All exams will be given during their set dates and absolutely no make-up
