Multitasking – The ability of a computer, processor, or operating system to run more than one program, job, or task at the same time. Multithreading- A technology that allows multiple parts or threads from a program to run simultaneously. Multiprocessing-The ability of a computer or operating system to support dual core processors or multiple processors. Command-Line Interface-A style of user interface which requires users to type commands, rather than use a mouse to manipulate graphics. GUI- a user interface based on graphics (icons and pictures and menus) instead of text; uses a mouse as well as a keyboard as an input device Boot Process-The sequence of events that occurs within a computer system between the time the user starts the computer and the time it is ready to process commands. Windows- an operating system with a graphical user interface
