Popol Vuh  it means literally “council book” it contains fragments of cosmogony, religion, mythology, migration traditions, and history of the  Quiche Maya of Central America, now in the area of Guatemala originally an oral legend, it was carved in cuneiforms on temples and written on screenfolds by  scribes
