FACULTY OF AGRICULTURAL & ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES FRESHMAN PROGRAM PROBLEMS, READINGS & APPLICATIONS ________________________________________________________________________________ th ed., are listed. You should assume that all material is to be covered in all sections, unless otherwise specified. There are no graded assignments; it is expected that you will do as many of the practice problems listed below as is necessary to master the lecture material. It is suggested that you work on the odd- numbered problems for which solutions have been posted, at a pace commensurate with the lectures. Failure to keep abreast of the material by working out the assigned problems will almost certainly lead to an unsatisfactory grade in the course. Quizzes will be at the level of the suggested exercises, text examples and/or problems solved in class. Applications are an opportunity to investigate interesting problems in some detail. EXERCISES:
