Program Assignment 3 CMSC 417 Fall 2011 October 23 1 Deadline November 6, 2011 . 2 Introduction In this project, you will write a simple multicast program. Your task is to write a single program that first acts as a multicast sender and then as a multicast listener. Some of the next projects will build upon this one. Do not underestimate this one by starting late. 3 Team Project You can build a team from this project. The Number of members per team should be less than or equal to 3 unless you have any particular reason. If you build a project team, please send the TA an email with the names of team members. If you are looking for team members, you can also send the TA an email so that he can find you teammates. There is an incentive for small teams. 1-member team : +10 points 2-member team : +5 points 3-member team : 0 But the maximum score you can get will be still 100 points. 1
