Hershel Turner ETH 301 Business Ethics Module 3 CASE: New York State outlaws a smoking in all enclosed work places 09 December 2011 There are some things I agree with as far as the ban on smoking in bars and restaurants. Yes I believe there should be a ban on smoking in the restaurants. The reason for this answer is because I don’t want to smell smoke when I’m trying to enjoy my dinner nor do I want my daughter to have a bad taste in her mouth because she can taste the cigarettes of someone sitting directly next to us in a what we use to call the SMOKING SECTION. not have our clothes smell like smoke everywhere we go. It’s bad enough people walk pass us everyday smoking but to go in an eating establishment and have to smell it also that’s not my idea of a lovely dinner with my family or friends. If the bars are connected to the restaurant such as Applebee’s there should be a ban on that as well because smoke travels regardless if they had a bad day or
