Requirements of Equilibrium Which of the four disks in the right figure are in equilibrium? B. Rigid Bodies in Equilibrium A uniform ladder is 5 m long and weighs 200 N. The ladder leans against a vertical, frictionless wall at height 4 m. A horizontal force F is applied to the ladder at distance d = 1 m from the base. The base slips to the right if the force is larger than or equal to 250 N. Find the coefficient of static friction. In the figure below right, what magnitude of constant force F is necessary to raise the wheel over an obstacle of height h = 10 cm? The wheels radius is r = 20 cm, and its mass is m = 2 kg.
