HW # 1 COP 3530 Spring 2011 CISE Department University of Florida Instructor: Manu Sethi Given on: Wed, Jan12 2011 Due on: Wed, Jan 19, 2011 before class (10:39 am) All programs should have a separate header file. Write one makefile for all the programs. The makefile should generate a separate binary file for each of the programs. The binaries should be named “hwXprobY”, where X should be replaced by the assignment number and Y by problem number. For example, the binary for problem 1 will be “hw1prob1”. There should not be any memory leaks in the programs. Make sure to use delete for all those objects or variables that you allocated using new, after you are done using them. 1. Problem 12 of the textbook (Sahni), Page 16 Write a general version of make2dArray (program 1.11) whose third parameter is a one-dimensional array rowSize rather than the integer numberOfColumns. Your function should create a two-dimensional array in which row i has rowSize[i] positions. Name your function makeGen2dArray.
