What is badminton?
Badminton
is a sports game played using
lightweight rackets
and a shuttlecock
across a net.
There are two types of game
singles
and
doubles.
Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with
the racket and landing opponents court. This game
was usually played outdoor but nowadays it is
played on indoor courts.



BASE
POSITION
•
The base position in badminton is the middle
part of the court.
•
This is the best position
a player
can be able to
go in direction to hit the
shuttle cock

SHADOW BADMINTON
Shadow footwork is where the player goes to a
court, and practices the footwork aspect of playing
badminton for the six corners of the court

TYPES OF
GRIP IN BADMINTON
The forehand or the handshake grip position the
thumb and pointing fingers wrapped around the
handle forming a letter V.

Back hand grip
The backhand grip, also known as the thumb grip,
is similar to the forehand grip except the complete
bottom of the thumb is in contact with the 3rd
