Body image – the picture of our own body we form in our mind…the way in which our body appears to ourselves B. Body image is dependent on the crucial relationship between body structure, body image and social acceptance and norms. C. Body image and body ideals shape attitudes toward and practices around food. These create morally tinged food meanings. For example, certain food items are deemed as “bad” or even “evil” like cakes, pastries – temptation. F.
