However, what is discussed in sections may be on the exams. Course Description: Students will learn about the basis of neural behavior at the cellular, molecular and system levels. The first half of the class will focus on basic brain anatomy and electrical signaling between neurons. The second half will focus on how the nervous system responds to stimuli and controls movement. Prerequisites: Bio 100 or BMB 100A or Bio110 Students should have basic knowledge of eukaryotic molecular and cell biology. Textbooks:
