Infection/Intoxication? 4. Microbial description (B/F/V/P/H) & general pathogen characteristics . 5. Reservoirs 6. Mode of Transmission/Vectors. 7. Portal of Entry. 8. Target tissues/systems, complications & sequelae. 9. Toxins and/or Virulence factors. 10. Signs and Symptoms (children/adults) . 11. Diagnosis: laboratory identification, tests, other. 12. Treatment & Prevention (vaccine, specific drug names etc) . 13. Anything else? Worldwide importance. Vulnerable targets: age, immunity status etc. Bacterial Diseases COCCI of Medical Importance Genus? species? Gram-Positive Staphylococcal Diseases: 1. Scalded Skin Syndrome (SSS). 2. Carbuncles, Boils, Folliculitis & Skin Abscesses. 3. Staphylococcal Osteomyelitis. Staph Complications/Sequelae: Toxic Shock Syndrome Staph drug resistant strains: MRSA, VRSA, and VRE Gram-Positive Streptococcal Diseases: 4. Impetigo (Staph & Strep).
