Unformatted text preview: Econ 281 - Final review Richard Walker Northwestern University March 7, 2011 Econ 281 - Final review Richard Walker Admin: Final will start at 9am on Thursday March 17th, in Leverone Auditorium, and is currently planned to last 90 minutes (might be less, wont be more) Calculators are permitted but will arouse suspicion You do not need to remember cutoff points of any distribution; any you require will be provided The formula sheet will look like the one from Winter 2010 Econ 281 - Final review Richard Walker Format: Less hands-on than midterm 2; will emphasise conceptual understanding of the issues in chapters 6-9 but still no proofs still might be asked to do formal tests Must be able to diagnose a problem, suggest solution, giving both formulae (where relevant) and intuition Econ 281 - Final review Richard Walker General thoughts on preparation : Material is from chapters 6-9 only chapter 6 material is from the Other things section, i.e....
