Using Thomson ONE Worldscope 5-Year Data 1. Log in to Thomson ONE—Business School Edition (you can do this by first going to http://daves.swlearning.com and clicking the link to Thomson ONE— Business School Edition). 2. Enter your company’s ticker symbol and click Go. 3. From the black menu at the top, select Financials. 4. This will bring up a screen with the financial statements and other information for the past five years. From the blue menu at the top, select the icon for Excel (this will export the data into an Excel spreadsheet). 5. A dialog box will appear. Select “Save this file to disk.” 6. Choose a location, give it a name, and save the file to that location. For example, if the company is Lowe’s, you might name it “Lowes Worldscope 5 year data.xls”. 7. After downloading the Excel file for the Worldscope 5-year financial statements, make a copy of the file “Valuation Template (Thomson ONE Worldscope 5- year).xls” and give it the name of your company.
