Using Thomson ONE SEC 10-Year Data 1. Log in to Thomson ONE—Business School Edition (you can do this by first going to http://daves.swlearning.com and clicking the link to Thomson ONE— Business School Edition). 2. Enter your company’s ticker symbol and click Go. 3. From the black menu at the top, select Financials. 4. From the blue menu at the top, select More. 5. This will create a drop down menu. 6. This will create another drop down menu. Select 10YR Balance Sheet. 7. This will bring up a screen with the balance sheets for 10 years. From the blue menu at the top, select the icon for Excel (this will export the data into an Excel spreadsheet). 8. A dialog box will appear. Select “Save this file to disk.” 9. Choose a location, give it a name, and save the file to that location. For example, if the company is Lowe’s, you might name it “Lowes SEC 10yr balance sheets.xls”.
