To be an Euler Path, a shape must cross each line once and only once. To do so, the shape must not have any odd vertices. For example, this rectangle has 4 corners. Each corner is a vertex, and each vertex has two lines connected to them. 2 is an even number, so there are no odd vertices, meaning there is an Euler Path.
