Born on opposite sides of Italy, Sacco and Vanzetti both arrived in America in 1908. They meet in Boston at an anarchist meeting In May, 1917 and later head to Mexico to evade conscription. They return to America in September. Next Year on February 22 nd , an anarchist Newspaper Company is raided. Sacco and Vanzetti donated to this company, and it is also the first time they were linked to anarchist activities. On April 28 th , 1919, a bomb plot, involving 30 dynamite bombs sent to important anarchist targets, is discovered and thwarted. Sacco and Vanzetti are rumored to have been involved in the attack on Attorney General A. Mitchell Palmer, where fellow anarchist Carlo Valdinoci blows himself up outside the Attorney General’s house on June 2 nd . Then, on Christmas Eve, an attempted robbery of a moving payroll truck in Bridgewater is not successful. Nobody was hurt and the bandits escape in a Stolen Buick, but one robber was known to have fired shotgun rounds at the truck. Later, on April 15
