Change Management Plan for Cottage Inn Pizza 2 Abstract: Cottage Inn Pizza located in Canton Michigan has been open for more than fifteen years. It is a small pizza shop located in the heart of the city. The employees are connecting to the customers, and care about the quality of food they serve. However, there are a few problems that are in need of addressed. In this change management plan we address the issue with outdated technology and the behavior of others inside the organization. It is important to have quality customer service, it is also important to change with the times. This means updating our technology and operating environment. “While no single change management plan or methodology fits every organization, there is a set of best practices that can be adapted to a variety of situations” (Colleen Mills, 2008). Using better technology and updating our communication skills will lead to our success in change. Having a monthly meeting will allow us to share this vision with the rest of the staff. Monitoring our drivers, cost, profits, and food loss will help us know where we stand in our current economy.

At this point our problem is we do not have any technology other than our cash register and calculator. Our drivers are spending more time running around then actually delivering the pizzas. Something has to change or we like many other pizza companies will face a slow death. There are a few different companies produce POS system and the one we choose will be the one that benefits the company the most economically. Our operating environment is also in need of a change.
