Week 6: Leadership Roles, Vision, and the Power of the Individual in Organizational Change Introduction: Assume you are leading a team in your organization. There is a significant change occurring in your organization that will impact your team directly. How will you convey the change to your team? This week, you will focus on the roles and responsibilities of leaders and managers in organizational change. As a leader, you will emphasize the positive effects of the change and how the change will help the organization meet its vision. You will probably also discuss issues that may initially arise in the change process and how to tackle them. This week, you will understand the terms team and vision . You will also learn about the personal impact of change on an individual’s reactions to organizational change. Learning Outcomes By the end of this week, you will be able to: Analyze the various roles and responsibilities of leaders and managers in organizational change Evaluate the personal impact of change on the individual and how people react to organizational change
