You would want to assess and analyze your audience in order to prepare for a good speech. For someone wanting to hire a minor, it is crucial to understand the requirements that are set by the DOL for your state. By understanding these laws, one can help protect themselves from getting fined or possibly losing their business license. Unformatted text preview: three hours a day for school days and eighteen hours a week during school weeks. There are hourly restrictions that are placed for minors that are of 14 to 15 years old. The minor is allowed to work from 7am to 7pm and from June 1 st to Labor Day, the minor is allowed to work till 9pm. When school is out, the minors being talked about can work an eight hour day and forty hour work week. Usually, there are not conflicts between state and federal child labor regulations.
