Printed Name: Objectives of This Activity Use SPSS to perform One-Way ANOVA. Mathematica reports the following types of natural disasters in the world: Avalanche, Drought, Dust Storm, Earthquake, Flood, Landslide, Land Subsidence, Locust Plague, Thunderstorm, Tornado, Tropical Cyclone, Tsunami, Volcano, and Wildﬁre. For each of the seven continents, the number of diﬀerent types of disasters in a particular country is summarized. When entering the data, please use the following guidelines to recode the continent names: Africa 1 Antarctica 2 Asia 3 Europe 4 North America 5 Oceana 6 South America 7 Test whether or not the average number of types of disaster are diﬀerent amongst the seven countries. If so, try to determine which are diﬀerent. Print supporting tables, and draw conclusions based upon: Test of Homogeneity of Variances - What did this test indicate and how does it impact your analysis? ANOVA or Robust Tests of Equality of Means - What did this test indicate and how does it impact your analysis?
