Dummit and Richard M. Foote. Additional material will be added, time permitting. Help me help you learn...please read ahead. Also, I assume that everyone is familiar with the notation in the Preliminaries chapter on pages 1 - 12. Homework: Homework will be regularly assigned. Homework from the previous week will be due on Wednesdays. Tests: There will be two tests and one comprehensive final exam. Missed Exams: I am hard pressed to imagine that you’ll miss one of my tests. However, if you do and I’m in a sufficiently good mood, then the final exam will replace the missing test. If you have a university excused absence, then I will consider giving you a makeup test.
