A ED 590 – Advanced Methods of Teaching Faculty Shadow Purpose : The purpose of this project is to allow graduate students to better understand the activities and responsibilities faculty have on a daily basis. Overview : The project will consist of students selecting individual members from the Tarleton faculty ranks, (Preferably COAHS faculty), and shadowing them for a minimum of two business days. Project Requirements : Selection & Approval of Faculty Member: o Due Date: o Please contact the faculty member during scheduled office hours and politely describe the course and the project. o Bring this project sheet with you as a guide and request a shadowing opportunity. o Schedule the shadowing days with the faculty member well in advance of the shadow dates. Development of Specific Activities: o Due Date: o The student and selected faculty member should map out what activities the student will engage in during the two-day shadow.
