Look up "Poisons" in two encyclopedias. ° Wikipedia (www.wikipedia.org) ° Encyclopedia Britannica (on the low bookshelf behind the Reference Desk in 141 Middleton) a. Does the Wikipedia article tell how to get help in case of poisoning? b. In Britannica , look in the index for "poison." You will find listings for two articles: a short Micropedia article in volume 9 and a long Macropedia article in volume 25. In the Macropedia article in volume 25, on what pages can you find a complete list of all the routes of exposure and absorption of poisonous chemicals? c. Is there any such list in Wikipedia of routes of exposure and absorption? d. Who wrote the Britannica Macropedia article? Look for initials at end of article and then use the volume with green on binding (the "Propaedia”) to find the names of the authors.
