Compile a guide to research on the topic. For clarity, use full sentences whenever this makes sense. You may include the following: 1. A restatement of the topic ° Restate the topic in a short paragraph with a topic sentence giving the main point of the research. ° By now you should be able to narrow your topic down, as well as to state specific steps or parts of your research topic. ° What question or questions is your research project attempting to answer? 2. A source in which an authoritative bibliography can be found, together with the author of the bibliography ° This may be an Encyclopedia Britannica Macropedia article ° Or an article in a subject-specific reference work ° Or a bibliography in an authoritative account (book or article) of your topic 3. A list of Library of Congress Subject Headings °
