Laboratory Report for Experiment 13: Qualitative Analysis of Cations Kevin Ho Chemistry 106, Section 10, T.A. Elsa I. Silva-Lopez Experiment Description: The purpose of this experiment was to isolate and identify seven different cations by methods shown in the flowchart. In this lab, I learned many techniques and test used to separate cations. This includes the use to litmus paper to predict if precipitate will form, as well the proper way to use a centrifuge, and how to determine if a precipitation is complete.
