STARTEGIC MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY 2 Strategic Management Executive Summary To understand strategic management a business must understand organizational strategy (David L. Goetsch). Organizational strategies are what a business adopts to ensure successful accomplishments in their particular market. The book states that strategic management is based on all action, decisions, and activates (David L. Goetsch). There are 6 basic steps in the strategic management process step one is SWOT Analysis SWOT stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This helps a business see where they stand and what issues they have and where the issues are. The second step is developing a vision statement. Once, the vision statement is developed you have the third step which is developing the mission statement for the company. Then the company has the fourth
