Art museum collection 2 Gothic and Late middle Ages The fist piece of art is of gothic and late middle ages. It is a stained glass piece, because in the gothic era stained glass was one of the biggest things in that time and was on the rise. They were huge windows that were permit architecture. In Chartres, France at the Cathedral of Norte-Dame in the west façade was a beautiful stained window called Life of Jesus (1150). The window was full of bright colors that made pictures from patterns. The pattern picture would shine through the line displaying the serious of events that happen in Jesus life. The things that were once painted on walls were now being made in to glass art work. Artist would take stories and turn them into gorgeous window art.
