Adam Bottorff 3/1/10 Sociology Extra Credit Food Inc For most clubs and extra activities, they usually inquire discussions and projects of some sort. For sociology club, we were lucky enough to watch a movie. The movie though, Food Inc, was a production that showed how and where the food we eat is made from and processed. Before viewing this movie, I often ate meat and quite frankly, lots of it. Being my first time watching this, it was a big eye opener to me on exactly what all the animals go through. I did not know anything about the slaughter houses and how bad the pigs, cows, and chickens were treated. Even though they were animals, they were treated like absolute dirt and were born to die. I know that if they were not killed, we would lack food, but it was very disturbing to see how everything is done. It was very gross, and disgusting, and to think we actually eat meat and foods from those dirty houses and farms makes me sick. This movie should be viewed by all high school students and college students. I think this movie can easily decrease the average amount
