General Electric is known greatly for their energy and how they are using specific energy to become efficient, while saving money. Specifically, they are growing with their wind turbines across the United States. Since 2001, the amount of wind turbine installations has gone up tremendously and researchers believe that they will jump higher in the future. Wind turbine is a device that transfers kinetic energy from the wind into mechanical energy. General Electric believes that the wind turbines have a great effect on environment and saving energy and electricity. Even though General Electric has been a main leader in energy and effecting the environment, they have many competitors that are very similar to their products and services. Siemens Company which is located in Germany and Honeywell International both have wind turbines, just like General Electric. General Electric has 17,000+ onshore units operating globally and 350+ reliability engineers around the world today (General Electic Energy1). Their
